SahkaarX uses artificial intelligence and automated analysis to personalize parts of the learner experience. This policy explains when AI is used, what information may be processed, and how you can control AI enrichment.
For learners in India, AI-related processing of personal data is handled in accordance with applicable Indian law, including the DPDP Act and related rules as notified from time to time.
1. Scope
This policy applies to AI-assisted features in SahkaarX, including career and skills guidance, assessment support, learning plan generation, weekly task evaluation, reassessment analysis, resource recommendations, and similar model-assisted workflows.
General software processing that does not rely on model-assisted enrichment may still occur under the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
2. What AI Features May Do
Depending on the features you use, AI-assisted systems may:
- Interpret profile, resume, onboarding, and assessment responses to estimate skill gaps and career fit.
- Generate or adapt learning plans, weekly tasks, carry-over recommendations, and progress summaries.
- Review completed task evidence and reassessment answers to estimate observed skill movement.
- Suggest learning resources, pacing adjustments, or next-step recommendations.
- Produce conversational guidance during supported assessment or counseling flows.
AI outputs are probabilistic and may be incomplete, biased, or incorrect. They are intended to support learning and planning, not to replace professional judgment.
3. Information Processed for AI Enrichment
When AI enrichment is enabled for your account, we may process relevant information such as:
- Profile and career context, including goals, role selections, education, and work history.
- Assessment and session responses, including conversational inputs where those features are used.
- Learning activity, including task completion, submissions, feedback, and reassessment results.
- Technical metadata needed to route requests safely, such as app version, locale, and feature context.
We limit processing to what is reasonably necessary to deliver the requested feature and improve reliability and safety.
4. When AI Enrichment Is Enabled
Accepting this AI Usage Policy as a required legal document enables AI enrichment for your account, including setting or confirming the AI enrichment consent flag used by the service.
Where required under Indian law, we process personal data for AI-assisted features on the basis of your consent or another permitted ground under applicable law.
Some experiences may not be available, or may be limited, if you do not accept the current published version of this policy.
5. Human Oversight and Limitations
AI-generated content should be reviewed critically. SahkaarX may apply safeguards, validation, and operational monitoring, but we do not guarantee that every output is accurate, fair, complete, or suitable for your circumstances.
Do not rely on AI outputs as the sole basis for employment, legal, medical, financial, or safety-critical decisions.
6. Service Providers and Model Infrastructure
We may use third-party model providers, cloud infrastructure, and tooling to deliver AI features. Those providers process information on our instructions under contractual confidentiality and security obligations appropriate to the service.
Where personal data is transferred outside India for AI processing, we do so only where permitted under applicable Indian law, as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Your Controls
You may:
- Review the current version of this policy in the application before accepting it.
- Revoke AI enrichment through account consent settings where that control is provided, subject to feature limitations that depend on enrichment.
- Request access to, correction of, or erasure of personal data, and raise grievances, through the controls and channels described in the Privacy Policy, subject to lawful retention requirements.
Revoking enrichment stops new AI-enrichment processing for covered features but does not by itself delete historical records already retained under the Privacy Policy.
8. Safety and Misuse
You must not use AI-assisted features to generate unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or infringing content, or to attempt to extract sensitive information about other users or internal systems.
We may restrict, monitor, or disable AI features to protect users and the service.
9. Changes to AI Features or This Policy
We may update models, providers, prompts, safeguards, or feature behavior over time.
Updated versions of this policy will be posted on our website and/or mobile application with a revised "Last Updated" date.
Continued use of AI-enriched features after updates may require renewed acceptance before you continue using those features.
